This Chrome "500" box is truly the best of its kind. It is the only steering box on the market today manufactured with a one piece housing to avoid welding. It is comprised of all new parts unlike most other on the market & utilizes the original pitman arm and has a 14:1 ratio.

The "500" series box has been factory-tested to ensure quality.

This is a direct replacement for the GM "605" box & produces excellent road feel and driver feedback eliminating leaky, sloppy steering!

It is also avaialble in the standard black finish & new pitman arms are available as well.

Steering ratio: 14:1
Input shaft: 3/4"-30 spline (Same as the GM "605" steering box)
Sector shaft: 1" 36-4 tapered spline. (Same as the OEM 1955-64 pitman shafts)
Pressure fitting: 7/16" tube (11/16"-18 inverted flare)
Return fitting: 3/8" tube (5/8"-18 inverted flare)
